Global SMP is a survival server with a tightly knit community. Our goal is to keep alive the idea of a server that is more building, cooperation, and event focused. There are several videos coming out per day with new SMPs claiming to be the "next big thing", or "unique" because of whatever plugin they had coded for the server. The idea of this is great! However, it gets to the point that the SMP landscape becomes over saturated and repetitive. Plus, loads of these servers lack soul and passion, only existing to see bigger numbers. 

We strive to do the opposite. Here is our goal summarized as best I can:

Global SMP is a server where there are no wild plugins. We keep Minecraft like Minecraft. It is very easy to make entertaining content on our server, even though we do not have a focus on video making. Our job is to ensure that there is a private SMP available that is purely community based.

That is what I believe this server should be. Hopefully, if you are another person who is tired of all these random plugin places, we reached you!
